Would you be interested in a floating text field too?

No, not at all necessary.

Floating Text Fields (footers and headers revisited)

24 Feb 2009, 03:04

Good morning!

First, congrats on a very strong X2, well done!

Request: Since X1, I've had the need to be able to place floating text such as that found on headers or footers of pages. As it is now, I've created backgrounds to help create this artificially but would like to refresh this request.

Ideally the text fields could be just like those found for the individual photographs except they'd always be there, 100% of the time. Justified in various places to the stage. Being able to have more than just 1 field, would also be helpful.

Thanks for reading!
Christopher

You can already create unlimited amounts of textfields (default includes text1, text2 and text3), and each field supports an array of description items.

All fields align to the image somehow though, and not the stage...

I did not find the way to create additional textfields... Could you indicate me where I can find this ?

Sorry for this (surely stupid) question... Many thanks :-)

Unless I'm mistaken, I believe he's referring to the individual image text fields. You can find them here:

1. Open imagevue Admin
2. Navigate to 'themes'
3. Navigate to 'edit'
4. 'image'
5. 'text'

From here you can set the basic details. You'll also likely need to edit them here:

1. From imagevue Admin
2. Navigate to 'config'
3. 'image'
5. 'text'

Here you set what is shown, if anything.

Hope this helps!
