We had a few customers buy X2 directly, but no longer require assistance. Is there an affiliate system yet or planned reseller-type arrangement??
We already offer a
"Commercial Consecutive License $50" (discounted from $150) on the
purchase page, which is basically aimed at agents or resellers who already own a license. If the reseller/agent wishes to simply obtain the $100 difference, or require a higher fee in the first place, that would not really be any of our business. I imagine these alternative scenarios:
- An agent/reseller may require a much higher fee from the client. Just as an example, $500 (or even much more) to setup the website. Part of the fee would simply need to go to the $50 license.
- An agent/reseller may offer a price $150 to the customer, where they would take the $100 difference.
- An agent/reseller could of course pass through the discounted $50 price directly to customer, but this would not normally make sense from a pure business perspective.
As far as I can imagine, an
affiliate system would only be useful if you are simply redirecting customers to our website, where they purchase X3 without any further participation by the reseller. In turn, that would require you to promote X3 from your website. I can't see this as a useful solution, but I may be wrong.
Perhaps a discount or
Redeemer Code solution would be more useful than an affiliate system? For example, you could promote X3 without a discount code, for example "25% discount when you use this code". We would intercept the promo code, and for example offer 25% commission to the "reseller".
