Should this parameter be in a config file instead of in the php file?

The thumbnails for portrait images in v17 cut off the top of the image. This was not a problem in v16. When the Imagevuex slide show is envoked from the thumb nail screen it would be nice if the slide show had the same audio controls as the thumb nail screen.
