Not right out of the box I'm afraid, first you will have to fix all textfields to have some fonts with russian letters embedded, then I think it gonna display them right away.

"Old" what?

The best way to upgrade is to just overwrite everything except content/ dir, I think. Or maybe if you changed some config settings you might want to save your old config first...

I think the 'installation' of the gallery is fairly easy if you've worked with websites and FTP uploads before, the first time I admit there were a few growing pains, but all in all I give it two thumbs up. If you think there is anything to improve or remember any bumps along the way - please share...

Gonna try summarize the community experience here, the issues with php are actually usually caused by either misconfiguration or absence of any, on 99% of commercial hostings everything works from the start. Also while it works with PHP5 (it seems), don't think there is need to rush with moving onto...
