Re: An idea

Basically it was the same I have mentioned to you before Karl... https://forum.photo.gallery/viewtopic.php?f=53&t=8424 Basically it is a Soft-Proofing gallery for clients: 1. Photographer upload 100 images 2. Client liked and favourited 10 images 3. Photographer grab those information liked by the c...

Re: X3 Beta V0.11 [Password protected pages]

Maybe we are not the same picture Karl... I have avoided to use the PIXIESET as an example but I think I have no other option to demonstrate. Here's my pixieset account with client login page: http://larryanda.pixieset.com/ Each of the subgalleries/folder is password protected and will present you w...

Re: X3 Beta V0.11 [Password protected pages]

No Karl, NOT a pop-up window... when you click on a link that is password protected it goes to that login page. I just can't screenshot my whole browser on what it really looks like because the forum doesn't allow me to upload bigger file.

Re: X3 Beta V0.11 [Password protected pages]

No, I mean ANY link from within the X3 app would be a able to spawn a custom login prompt. Only when the first page accessed in browser (before X3 is loaded), will it use the native browser prompt if there is a password. So the CUSTOM LOGIN PROMPT will look something like this? not entirely like th...

Re: X3 Beta V0.11 [Password protected pages]

[quote="mjau-mjau"] Yes. I think we would like to build a custom login dialog box when clicking a link directly from the menu (if the page is password-protected). However, it will still use the native login-prompt when trying to access a password-protected URL directly in the browser (before the app...

Re: X3 Beta V0.11 [Password protected pages]

Wonderful Karl... I'm loving it even more. Just installed the latest 0.11 and so far everything is working great no issues at all. If there's one thing I would like to ask.... Do you have plan to incorporate the login system on the page itself and not on a new window? Sample attached: Current - 1.PN...

Re: Password protected gallery and Soft-Proofing

Yes, but if you have individual passwords for each gallery inside the "Galleries" page, do you actually need/want a password for the main "Galleries" page at all? My answer is NO. So say I have menus: MAIN | GALLERIES | ABOUT US |CONTACT US Under GALLERIES I have 10 subfolders or sub-galleries that...

Re: Password protected gallery and Soft-Proofing

Say if I have multiple galleries (sub-folder) inside the "Galleries" page... I would like to assign individual password for each. SO I think Non-recursive is what I would like to have when I initially request for this feature.

OR Maybe I don't understand your question Karl. :P

Re: How to protect my photos?

Any protection is better than nothing... Right click is a good protection for those who don't know how to open and don't understand the source code. It protects your text contents as well for copying. I'd like to see an easier way to add a javascript code on the panel similar to adding a custom CSS....

Re: POLL: What features for v0.10 RC (Release Candidate)?

Regardless of how it works, I would like to see a customise contact form to be add in the RC. It should be more than the existing Name, EMail and Message...

Thanks

Re: POLL: What features for v0.10 RC (Release Candidate)?

I just want to see a password-protected gallery in the front end.

Something that I will create a main page for CLIENT ACCESS and then a list of all the client gallery in GRID format and under each gallery will have the ENTER PASSWORD TO VIEW or something to that effect.
