Re: Imagevue X2.6 Beta!

Looking good again guys :) Love the share feature :D Nicely done. I would like to know how you assigned the icons to the items in the demo page (the social ones) That has some major potential. Anyway ... side question ... when it fotomoto planned ? I know its a major upcoming feature ... but so eage...

Re: Ability for Users to Comment on Images

A password to comment ... nah ... wouldnt get my vote. Further Karl already mentioned a guestbook will be implemented in a later edition. Imagevuex is not database driven so a user system is kinda out of the question. But it would be a great addition to comment on an image: im all for a comment imag...

Re: Email with a anti-spam human question

Ok let's give my 2 cents on this matter: I am not experiencing any form of spam thorugh the imagevue flash gallery. But still captcha's are always a good idea. For instance I reworked my cms to simply include a recaptcha module wherever it was needed. It took a few minutes to implement and well... I...

Re: Ver 2.5b

But as you've reported there might be a problem with thumbnail creation actually. true ... But I normally focus on the good things.. And they over ruled the bad in this situation :) Glad to report that the problem is solved on pfsquad at least, this most likely should solve it for mr. sproket also,...

Re: Imagevue X2.5 Beta Release

Not too sound like a nag but: Thumbnail creation seems to take ... forever ... In 2.1.8 that took 1-4 minutes . Today I started my first thumbnail creation through 2.5beta (latest download) at 23:10 of a batch of 143 pictures. Ans its still running. Seems something is wrong ... any ideas ? Edit: Did...

Re: Ver 2.5b

At the moment can't say anything about using Imagevue with IIS, need to test somewhere. But I can say for sure this is not recommended. Also try with latest beta. Imagevue 2.5 runs fine even on heavy loaded servers like pfsquad.nl with thousands of images. But it's powered by Apache ofcourse. haha ...

Re: 2.5 and html performance

Ok, I will have to re-confirm release version number, but generally speaking this is a big major release so we were thinking of taking it to 2.5. They do this sometimes when there is a huge release, not big enough for changing the main figure (eg. imagevueX3), but big enough to take it to .5. See f...

Re: PHP Error

Hi Yves, Ik heb zo'n vermoeden dat je PHP 5.3.x. draait. Er zijn een aantal functies die in 5.2.x goed zijn maar in 5.3.x deprecated. (Warning This function has been DEPRECATED as of PHP 5.3.0. Relying on this feature is highly discouraged.) Zie ook: http://php.net/manual/en/function.ereg-replace.ph...

Re: New release today 28 october.

The old 2.1.8.1 is 6.7 MB and the new one is 7.2 MB - so something is changed here. Ah good point :) I have not over wrote my site yet till I hear the modifications. But something was changed. Same here. Always want to know whtat to checkout before upgrading anything. It's up to the team to tell us...

Re: Please provide hidden folders and password login for use

This might be a totally crazy idea but ... why not use a multiple gallery setups to achieve what you want ? That way different links lead to different galleries. You then can make an 'easy' persmission based page from your cms for instance .Like: If user = member then show linka if user = guest then...
