Thanks for your help.  The problems I was having related to doing an update from the old particles.js, which was still stuck in the cache from X3.  After clearing the Cache and preloads all is fine.

Thanks for the quick response, yes, I added the script to the html custom settings, the snow was in the footer and behind the navigation, unseen on the content page, its as though the style sheet background image is in front of the script.

Not all that important, its not a necessity :joy:

Is there a way to add effects overlays to the x3 Photo Gallery?  I wanted, back during Christmas, to add snow effects as a js plugin (demo here http://www.schillmania.com/projects/snowstorm/)

but never could figure out how to make the style background transparent to do so.
