Logo on top of the menu
I'm bit tired of answering how to do that 3th time in a row, so here is little guide. Gotta tell ya there are some bumps on the road still, but we're working on it. Hope this helps. ![]() What we have to do to get this? 1. Get logo image ready Here is the template which fits Default Theme ![]() 2. Save logo to imagevue/templates/default/logo.png File must be in the same directory theme is. For now that is the only option. 3. Set logo to be displayed on background, in top left corner: Go to admin Theme > Default > Edit Style > Background Image ![]() 4. Move menu lower and remove alpha effects ( otherwise menu will be on top of the image ) I just set everything to 0, maybe Karl will suggest something else, just firefox crashed twice while im writing this, so better post already. ![]() 5. Remove words "Gallery menu" from language you use Config > English: ![]() The trick is to actually add just space won't work. _________________ Nick // Imagevue ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() dear-apple.com jaconda.im indexr gridpapr Last edited by Nick on 03 Feb 2009, 20:13, edited 4 times in total. |

Do you mean if you can have both? I don't think so, it's the same file. I made the menu "around" my logo.

wouldn ´t it be easy to add instead of an grafic an animated logo as swf or animated gif?
If you guys solve this problem with the logo (which is quiet usefull for most users anyway) and separate it from background, it would look cool. Also to make it possible to have fixed menus beside the album navigation on top like in first version. I also tried something else..... e.g. You wanna make an soundintro for an album and play afterwards music. But not reload the signation. Like: wwwooooommm - tsching -kling....intro - moving into cool sound. I hope u understand what i mean - hahaha _________________ Pedro Tirolo |

I'm trying to follow the posted steps from pain, but I cannot locate where to change the 'mainmenu' text to ' ' in X2. I've searched template config and main config w/ no success. Am i just blind?

photosnob, you have to edit Language or create your own language based on the one you using now.
Config > English (laguages are at the right) _________________ Nick // Imagevue ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() dear-apple.com jaconda.im indexr gridpapr |

I have a question regarding the button that normally reads "Gallery menu"
Can I increase the height of this menu button If you go to my site http://www.mikeivers.com/web you will see the problem. I have located my logo in the top left corner. When I hover over the lower part of my logo nothing happens because the original "gallery menu" button does not extent down that far so unfortunately it doesn't trigger the drop down menu. When I hover over the top part of the logo the main menu will drop down(this is because the "gallery menu" button is transparent So if someone can help me to increase the height of the transparent "gallery menu" button to cover all my logo this will solve the problem Any suggestions? _________________ Many thanks Mike |

Unfortunately, you can't change the height of that button. I will have to make that an option in next release if anything ...

Ok Karl, Thanks very much. Try and include it in a future release if you get the chance.
I know all these little customisation requests are coming thick and fast. Keep up the good work Many thanks Mike |

i have successfully uploaded my logo as my background, positioned TR. as people look through my portfolio, it obviously remains visible which is good but I was wondering if it was possible to make this logo a link to HOME...
I have read that we are able to put a HOME link in the main menu but that would only be a last resort for me. what i have so far: www.malcolmbrown.net/gallery thanks, mac |

Mmm I think if you'll make small swf with only one button and text inside and position it at TR it will do the trick for you.
