Dear people of Imagevuex, Mjau Mjau,
I've been visiting these forums quite regularly the last 6 or 7 months and today I've registered because with every new day I'm more curious to the new Imagevue, whilst everytime I check the forums there isn't the slightest indication of when this may be finished or even in beta-testing stage. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not criticising your decisions. It's your project and you should do it in whatever way you like. It's just that if it's all the same to you, I'd be curious to a timetable of sorts in which I can see some global dates when to expect what. Anyways keep up the good work. The first version was and still is a very nice design, so the second must be awesome again! Cheers Jeroen |

Good question! I must simply apologize to users who have been expecting a new release earlier. We haven't really been able to keep our estimates reasonable. Some users may think we are not active anymore because of so little seemingly going on, but the truth is we are very deep into our new forthcoming version!
I will have to put it this way: We promise a public demonstration of the new version within middle May, and public beta release within May. _________________ Karl / mjau-mjau ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() www.imagevuex.com www.mjau-mjau.com www.photogallerylinks.com |

Thank you for the estimate-dates Mjau-Mjau!
I'll just sit back, enjoy the ride and wait to see what May will bring |

Greetings,
We have arrived at the close of the month of May, I was wondering where things stood with respect to the anxiously awaited debut of Version 2. Any ideas about when we can expect to see it? Waiting patiently...... |

I'm with Land Rover on this.
May is over and there's not even a screenshot. Again, don't get me wrong, I respect you're working on it. But when a promise is made it can't be undone. I'd love to see the much awaited V2 of Imagevue |

I'd like to know when the public beta is being released as well, since it's now June.

LMAO Whats so funny? I even got an email from the admin about 2 months ago saying that I'll be getting an email in May. I've already received an email with the beta preview...so I've seen the new version, but I'd like to get the release so I can start using it. |

"Chill people. It will be ready when it's ready. I'm sure the extra time it's taking will ensure another top notch and hopefully bug free imagevue."
Dear sycophant, it's been YEARS of the same story. With one BS timeframe after another. The fact that it's a hobby for some guy doesn't excuse the behavior. |

Indeed, indeed they should take the time they need. But I don't think it's that hard to create a realistic time schedule. I don't mind at all if that means the beta is not out until November, just as long as by then the beta is really ready.
Long story short, when a promise/agreement is made, expectations are set and when the expectations aren't met, disappointment remains. So therefore, I'd rather hear it's ready in november if that's when it really is ready, then some earlier date that can't be met anyway. |
