Works here ... I tried from both iPad and from desktop, and it shows the New Zealand folder:

domnick0 wrote:Just a thought here, but is it possible to make the html gallery the mobile gallery? I prefer the mobile gallery to the current html version on a desktop computer, I'm aware I can just add the url /?mobile=1 but can I make imagevue just do it on browser detect?
Are you not using the flash gallery at all though? As it is right now, all devices that don't show the mobile version will be showing the SWF version anyway. Technically, the html gallery has no function right now unless you want to display it instead of the flash version.
domnick0 wrote:Why when i disable "Enable Html" the mobile gallery gets disabled as well?
This hasn't been done by choice, but is there any reason you would want to disable the html version if you are using the mobile html version? The mobile gallery is somewhat interlinked with the html gallery.
domnick0 wrote:And how do i enable language translation of the mobile gallery?
What do you mean "language translation"? It already supports language tags as in the flash and html gallery by using language tags. See the mobile gallery in action below after adding ?language=italian in the URL. It displays only code inside the [italian] shortcode:

I understand. We will think about this ...

Pretty strange... I can get to deeper folders using the site map style menu at the top... but not the main menu. I am using HTC Incredible phone... Android.

I re-loaded the latest build... cleared cache... same results.

Not sure what is happening.

Also... what is the word on deep link functionality for the mobile site?

Thanks

Is this something that you did not experience in earlier releases?

It does kinda work already. When viewing a link to an image from mobile, it will display the image:
https://www.photo.gallery/demo/x2/?/Fanc ... W83vCI.jpg
... or folder ...
https://www.photo.gallery/demo/x2/?/Fancy/
Does this not work for you?

I am at Best Buy (a large electronics store).... Menu does not work on ANY Android devices... phones/tablets, ics/honeycomb/gingerbread. I get the same results with the IV demo site as I do with http://www.merelyafleshwound.com

Also... there were a number of new Android devices in which the flash site would come up vs. the mobile.

Deep links are now working for me :-)

I'm loving the new additions in the latest imagevue but I don't know if this is due to my Web server configuration or what but I'm unable to save any <'s or "'s in the mobile gallery settings. Every time I try to set a global header image the html markup is stripped of those characters rendering the html useless as it just shows the img html.

And I second being able to set a folder image with out having the image displayed for instances when you have nested folders. That would help with the look of the mobile gallery when browsing through sections.

Hi,

I have a few questions:

1) I noticed that the mobile part of the site has a blue color on the rollovers, how can I change this color so I can have it customized?

2) is there documentation on how to update the beta from the last version to the latest?

3) I tried adding the vimeo and youtube buttons to the social sharing, but it doesnt seem to work, how can I get it to link properly?

thanks! :)

For now, this is not something we are adding tons of options for. If you are familiar with CSS, you can edit imagevue mobile CSS stylesheet, but you will loose your changes after updating: iv-includes/assets/css/imagevue.mobile.css

Best option would probably be to find the CSS style in that file, and then apply it in in your admin -> settings -> custom CSS -> Mobile Gallery CSS. You may need to add an !important in the style to make it outrank the one from the default css.
shadoukat wrote:2) is there documentation on how to update the beta from the last version to the latest?
The best way bar none is to just upload everything except your content folder and your iv-config folder. This will update all files, but keep your content and changes in settings and custom themes.

Add to mobile version or what?

I downloaded again, now it works like a charm. The package I downloaded before must have had wrong files in it. But I'm really happy now that it works :-)

I would recommend to use the built-in CSS editor rather than editing the imagevue.mobile.css. Settings > Custom CSS > Mobile Gallery CSS

It will create a separate file in iv-config folder that will stay there if you update Imagevue.

Thats what I said. He would still need to lookup the styles in imagevue.mobile.css to find styles to edit though.

Unfortunately no, because we added this as a simple design fix. If we allow all kinds of external files to be loaded, its incredibly difficult to design it properly, and we would need to add other settings also, like margin, size etc. I have some suggestions:

A) There is a new menu_logo feature coming up later this week, which is a dedicated way to add your own menu graphic/logo/button. You could use this and simply design or upload your own button entirely.

B) You could add <img src="file" /> directly into the language item for gallery_menu.
