Hello !
I did not found how to use the resizetobox / croptobox options to have the thumbnails like in lightroom Library module. Precisely, when the "matrix" of thumbnails is displayed, each little image has to be reduced proportionally to fit into a square of given dimension. No crop, but only a resize of the image. Of course, there would be a margin between the image and the border of the square, on the top and the bottom for horizontal images, and on the right and left sides of vertical images... Do you understand what I mean ? There is a screenshot right here : Thank you very very much for your help ! MacDo |

Ok - As you say, each little image has to be resized to fit proportionally within a square/box - No cropping. That would imply the resizetobox method. You simply set the boxwidth and boxheight settings to create the square/box which delimits the size of the thumbnail.
It's a bit hard to say exactly what size/proportion is used on the thumbnails in your screenshot, but the box is certainly set to a wide aspect as the landscape thumbnails are wider than the portrait thumbnails are tall. For example, if you set resizetobox:200:150, you are basically setting a 200x150 rectangle that all images have to be resized within, without cropping or loosing aspect. Let's take two example images: 1. 800x600 and 2. 600x800 800x600 ... resizes to ... 200x150 600x800 ... resizes to ... 113x150 Read more about our thumbnails creation methods: http://www.imagevuex.com/blog/?p=18 _________________ Karl / mjau-mjau ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() www.imagevuex.com www.mjau-mjau.com www.photogallerylinks.com |

Ok thank you very much... That works... One more question : How can I set the color of the square box in which each thumbnail is displayed ?
To be precise, for the moment, thumbnail grid in the middle of the screen is shown like this : ![]() I would like to have this : ![]() Moreover, I would love if the background color of thumbnails changes on hovering, just like this (with mouse on the middle image) : ![]() Is this possible ? I did not found these features in the admin panel... Thanks once more ! I love imagevuex more and more |

Unfortunately, there are no thumbnail background "boxes" as you speak of. I will consider this as a request to something we might be able to add in a later release.
