geo data are missing after uploading resized pictures

Hi guys
resized pictures with swfuploader does not show any geodata to link to google maps. is that a known issue?

Unfortunately yes. We have added Imagemagick support that should have fixed the issue, but had to remove it again due to numerous issues.

Unfortunately, I believe you must upload your own resized images if you are going to retain EXIF data and geo location data. The upload-resizer module wipes meta data as it recreates the resized image.

What a pity.... than i have to take a look for a batch resizing tool. Would be great if you find a way in the future. its nice to handle everything in the backend of the gallery. What you did within the last 4 years on this gallery project is really amazing!!!! You make me happy to take pictures and spread them with the gallery on any device

I think there should be an upgrade to the uploader some time soon ... There are a few challenges with the resize engine.
