The lastest version is Imagevue X2.8 beta8

We would be almost ready to release, if not the multiple issues with the new media player which is our move towards universal .mp4 video playback. I can't name any dates but hope it won't take long to iron things out. If this won't work out, then we will have to replace the player and try again... This is the price of progress I guess.

Sorry but if you are not opening gallery with ?mobile=0, then it sounds like there is an issue with the phone browser itself. Like it is not supplying the correct UserAgent string every time. I don't think we can solve this, from my testing on the android phone I can testify that I haven't seen it mistakenly returning a flash gallery not even once.

Maybe you could try to refresh this http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ link and see if the user agent will change?

I know you have to deal with lots of other issues but have you made any progress with the matter explained above?

Is there anyway you could add a function "Set as Wallpaper" (optional) if its not too much work?

The problem with this is the interface we're using for the swiping, it intercepts user interaction and simply doesn't allow the browser to even display the callout.

We are thinking of a better mobile solution for the next version but it will not see the light of the day in 2.8.

If you share the image form the Flash gallery it sends the universal link that autodetects your devices and shows the appropriate gallery. Shares from the HTML galleries are handled by AddThis. Thank you for bringing this into the spotlight, we have fixed them so mobile gallery shares the universal link too. Now this is resolved at least. Unfortunately the Addthis share-by-email interface is a complete disaster on mobile so we plan to have our own email sharing subpage in the future.

The mobile landing page is not a replacement for the main gallery. We can't show any image we want in the swiping inteface this is why we use the landing page which is significantly improved since the last beta release.

i don't know if anyone asked this, but is it possible to change the design of the mobile website?

I totally agree! Is it possible to deactivate the title of text pages in the mobile gallery somehow using custom css? This would work well if I set the folder as a textpage with no content..

I have just test the new beta (non-mobile), sorry if i post on the wrong place.

Lokks great, a little bit slow for now...
just two problem i saw :

1. when startpath is set to image whith a vidéo, when you close the video there is a white screen instead of the picture, think you have to come back to the thumb view...
2. on chrome an ie, the lightbox have scroolbar, it's not very cool and it go over the video...

I'm running v2.8 b8 on a IIS7 and when trying to use the Mobile version I get error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENDIF in X:\wwwroot\iv-includes\templates\mobile\index.html.phtml on line 176

Any settings I need to modify to make it work?

Ok i found the Problem on my Site. I must be enable the HTML View now works the mobilefunction. With disable html view no chance to use this new feature!

Yeah, this is a clean installation with default settings (HTML by default -> On)

On our Website (in-picture.de) works now too but only i have activate the HTML feature. But with this option Visitors can steal our pictures. Thats not cool.

What we need to do use the mobile function without the html function to activate?
