V2 and video gallery flv

hi Karl,
i have just downloaded the V2 beta, first of all Thanks for your great work,
i have a question , in future this version will manage the video files ?
like .flv or mpeg videos ?

Yes it will support FLV. It already works with FLV if you run your server locally, but I need to spend some time with this.

How do you add .flv content to v2 locally so it works? Could you give a brief overview please? Many thanks!!

I think your gonna have to wait. We kinda integrated it in a sloppy fashion some time ago, and it worked fine locally. I don't think it works at all right now, so you may have to wait for public announcement.

No problem, thank you for the response! :-) Would I be wasting my time if I tried embedding video in either .mov or .flv via a "page"?

I think yes, because I just tried it quickly ... You won't be able to add *.mov anyway, because flash doesn't support it ... Or actually, you can use MOV, but your mov files will have to open in a new browser window to be viewed in plan browser plugin.
