now I have upgraded to 0.9.1 - even the complete update. On my check page, nothing has changed. But I believe everything runs a bit faster now. :-)

Btw, since I broke my X2 I decided to put X3 on http://www.dominiksellung.de without the Test-folder. ;-)
WOW your photography is amazing!

Small favor to ask, could you post your index code up so i can see how you linked to your images? It would help me out alot.

Looks pretty awesome, thanks to your images. Nice dark theme with the contrasting red-ish color, and this font combo is beautiful.

May I ask what is preventing you from taking it to production?

Hi Zuro ... Your website looks great! I have a few minor things I would like to mention though, while I am having my morning coffee ...

1. Why use a portrait-aspect image on the start page? It is stretching a lot on the majority of wide screens (except mobile devices), and is cut off a bit too much. It would be more functional to have a landscape image as your start page image.

2. Subjectively, Im not a fan of the strong red color frame around the images ... I think its too overwhelming.

3. If you are going to use long <h4> subheaders, then perhaps make it "normal" font-weight (not bold)? Its a bit too heavy!

Just some thoughts about some small unimportant stuff!

I accepted the advice. I changed
- color frame
- <h4> subheaders
- startpage

Thanks Karl !

x3.petitspois.ca

It's still being tweaked as we speak and I do need to refresh the portfolio to include some recent work. But still, I quite happy with it. Keep in mind that 99% of my clients are new moms. Hence the light and bright look.

Any comments?

Well done ... Nice font, good colors, makes your great photos stand out ... Especially on the start page!

I looked through most pages, and I only have one comment ... Isn't your logo a bit big? I am on 13" screen here, and I think your logo is way too dominating on all pages. I could easily see it at half the size, and it would be more elegant, focusing more on your images.

Too big:

Better:

Better focus on content:

This will make it look better on mobile also

In the logo section of the docs, there are some "utilities" to limit the width of the logo. In my snapshots, I am using the w240 logo utility class.

Personally, I am not a fan of the "outline" effect on the logo, but that is just my preference. Well done!

You are totally right about the size! I was looking for a way to have it big enough on the mobile version but I couldn't find how to do it. The only way I had it decent was to make it really big on the desktop version.

So It will limit the size on the desktop and let it use some space on the mobile?

It was to have it stand out against all off the different background on the home screen. Sometime it's dark, sometime it's light. Without the outline it would blend into the pictures. You're maybe right about this one too. I'll look into it that's for sure.

Thanks so much for the inputs.
