I have a link menu item on my site that I would like to open in lightbox on the flash site and in a new tab on the mobile site. Is there a way to do this?

Did you try it? This should be the default behavior when assigning a lightbox link. On the mobile platform, it should bypass the lightbox functionality and open the link in a new window.

on the ipad in both safari and chrome the link does not open in a new window.

on www.merelyafleshwound.com go to 14ers and open the 14er log

But the link does open though ... just not in a new tab it seems?
