cant really find it anymore!

We removed this from Imagevue X2.5 because we thought everyone wanted to use custom sorting, but I guess some users still need the automated sorting. We will be adding this back again in X2.7.

Аctually we forgot about people who are uploading folders by ftp. And file system sorts them bit weird by default.

I rely heavily on uploading folders and images by FTP. And I also rely on automated sorting of folders, so please re-implement it.

Same here ... only use ftp to upload.

Likewise - 100% FTP and would love to see default sorting of folders AND photos back

There is nothing missing in regards to FILE/PHOTO sorting. Now, there is manual sorting with drag-and-drop, but you can still set sorting method on the top:

i know its possible to sort images in a folder, but what about sorting the folders in the 'root' folder?

We will put back default folder sort for the next release.

Excellent, I too miss this feature as I only use FTP. When do you think 2.7 will be released?

btw, still having a weird navigating site after having this feature taken out ..

Sorry, we are a few days delayed before a beta release ... mostly because the e-commerce integration with Fotmoto took a little longer to implement.

What exactly do you mean weird navigating?

Well, normally our sitenavigation starts with 'Nieuws' and ends with 'Contact', at the moment thats reversed

All our newsitems go from old to new, instead of new to old, etc... everyting is reversed..

... and this happened when? After upgrading to Imagevue X2.6.4?

Can you not set the sorting options in the admin for this folder to fix it at least? Reverse it from what its currently set to ... or you can at least drag and drop as you like.
