Good Morning (or afternoon, I don't know where you're living...),

First of all, I want to thank the imagevue team for the very good job they've done with the 2.8 version. It's just awesome !

(I just have to admit I'm a little bit disapointed, you promised us an better horizontal menu ... I'm still waiting for it, for more than a year but here is not my question.)

Here is the thing : I want to add external video (from youtube etc), so I decided to use the javascript trick on thumbnails (and open it in the lightbox, as explained in the imagevue documentation)

I enabled the "link" in settings>settings>attributes.
I chose "link" in the settings>thumbnails>thumbnail>click
I added the javascript:lightbox('http://www.youtube.com/embed/ZHLNS5m-aD4?rel=0&hd=1', {iframe:true, innerWidth:'640', innerHeight: '360'}) to the image link field.

This ... opens me a new blank window in FF, and it does nothing in IE.


Do you know how I can do that ?

From HTML gallery it works in IE8, IE9 and FF, but calling it from flash raises the following error: "Ignoring cross-frame javascript URL load requested by plugin."

Looks like this is a sandboxing issue, got to have Karl look into it.

There was an issue preventing the lightbox javascript from running correctly from the thumbnails LINK feature. This has now been fixed, and will be available in Imagevue X2.8.1, which should be available within a few days. Thanks for making us aware of this issue, and also how it can be used as a cool feature!

Ok, waiting for the 2.8.1 then !

This problem is also happening with the image link feature, but I think it's gonna be solved in the same time.

Do you know when it will be fixed for the mobile version?

Links on thumbnails opened from mobile using lightbox simply bypass the lightbox, and open in new window ... For example a youtube or vimeo video. I have tried it, and it works fine ...

Have a link that says else wise?
