I really like the new function “password on a parent folder”
But it shows a preview image from within the folder, when I move the mouse over the folder name in the menu, is it possible to disable this function for just the folders with PW protection ?

Thanks for the suggestion. In the next release, we will make it so that the preview-image does not appear for password-protected folder. It will of course appear after the visitor has input password for this folder successfully.

This feature has now been added and will be available for the new Imagevue X2.7, which is pending for release imminently.
