The status loading bar being messed up

17 Dec 2012, 10:04

Hello,

I do want to add that I have not upgraded to 2.8.6 yet as I am still on the latest version of 2.8.5 but I want to know if this was an issue fixed with 2.8.6. The loading bar that shows up when you cycling through pictures seems to be taking up the entire width of the screen on my website. Do i have a scaling setting wrong or was this a known bug in 2.8.5.

My website is stephenrogers.net and just go to an album and click on a picture to see the bar show up.

Thanks

I have seen this before one time ... I am not quite sure what it is, but your images are somewhat corrupted and don't return their filesize and amount loaded properly to flash. I am not sure if this is related to your server or to your images. May I borrow admin access so that I can take a look?

Latest version changed to circular preload graphics, so I am not sure how you have this problem. May I take a look at the link?

Have managed to get it sorted just about. Only got to try and do is change the font colour in the swf file.

Looks to me like a PHP simply outputs the html to format the text. The PHP is here:
http://www.martinmattocksphotography.co ... 5&NumLow=0

If you view source for that file, you can see it uses normal html formatting:
Code
<font face="Verdana" color="489DC7" size="16"><b>George Smiley</b></font><p></p><font face="Verdana" color="#489DC7" size="14"><b>GWS1958@btconnect.com</b></font>
The above tags should be possible to edit from one of the PHP files for this comments/guestbook module.

Thanks Karl, but as explained it is the template it seems to be for a dark theme & does not quite work for a light theme.
Hopefully I will be able to get a copy of the template made for a light theme and just change them when required.
Its a case of getting in there and having a go, that's the only way I am going to really learn about these thing.

Thanks again for your time & help, hopefully will not need you again for a while now.. :D
