I have just added a user in my admin with username and password.
After doing this I logged out and tried to test it out, now I can't get
back in, every time I put my username and password in I get a
'too many redirects' error message . How do I resolve this?

What is the link to your gallery admin? Do you have any htaccess redirecting? 100% sure you upgraded all files, also imagevue.php in the root?

I am not quite sure but it might be somehow cookie related, try to clear your browser cache and cookies.

It seems to have resolved itself, I went to login again after a day and it went straight through - i sorta hate it she that happens because of the unpredictability - as long as it is working then thats fine.
