Right, off to go and try FTP now!!!!

Hopefully that will work and I feel like a wotsit! Thanks

Looks like I am looking for another piece of software then. The ability to dump huge amounts of files via FTP was a deciding factor in using your software previously, V2 is a major step backwards IMHO. PLUS the fact that I cant load ANY images is kinda useless....not happy I waited months and months...

Done that and now I would have to upload each image individually...if in fact there was a button to "upload" I select an image and then it does nothing. Having to upload images manually rather than dumping hundreds in via ftp (as I do currently) will unfortunately bring me to the end of my relations...

I think password protection is being worked on in the new version? However the safest way is still to use a system locally on your servers. To direcly link to folders in your gallery you just need to put in the folders that the images as shown below http://www.yourdomain.com/imagevuefolder/?folder=c...

One of the other posts does state that there may be a delay, but he's hoping to get a beta out before the end of the year.

The main thing is we know they are working hard on a replacement and that any delays just ensure we get a nice rounded upgrade.

I am happy to wait for a well tested system with the major new features already mentioned. I stll think the current version offers more than other products, its just in need of the update as technology and requirements have moved on. There are not many of you working on this so the slightly slower l...

I agree that the squares will look better, but would be concerned about the crop. If it works as it says it will then great. However I would want the original way to be on hand in case it doesnt work out.

Any news on a date yet :)

I am having this problem also, I didnt previously, but now I notice the scroll bars are defaulting as off. I will do some more digging, but I am surprised that no-one else has offered any assistance.

It does seem support and indeed future release has now halted.
