You can set your default language by going to your Admin › settings › settings.language. Although this sets the language for your gallery interface, it will not affect your titles or descriptions until you effectively create them in multiple languages. You can edit languages by going to Admin › Languages

Item Language

You can set multiple languages for titles, descriptions, text-pages and menu-links by using language tags. Language tags are generally used by including your choice of languages inside language [tags]. In the example below, we have created a title for English and Spanish:

[english]This is a title[/english][spanish]Este es un título[/spanish]

The resulting output for English (?language=english) would be:

This is a title

Whereas the resulting output for Spanish (?language=spanish) would be:

Este es un título

You can also include text outside of the tags, which will display for any language. For example:

1. [english]This is a title[/english][spanish]Este es un título[/spanish] link

The resulting output for English (?language=english) would be:

1. This is a title link

Whereas the resulting output for Spanish (?language=spanish) would be:

2. Este es un título link

The benefits of adding items outside of the language tags, are for example links, menu-icons or images (in text-pages) which are global to all your languages.

Although you are using multiple languages, you only need to set [language] tags for items where you strictly need separate languages. For items that don’t have language tags, Imagevue will simply display the plain item text. Additionally, if a language is being viewed that a language tag is not created for, Imagevue will use the text from the first language tag.

How to Implement Languages for your Visitors

Now that you know how to set up your gallery to support multiple languages, you may wish to know how you can provide the language options for your visitors. There are several alternative implementations, depending slightly on your requirements. Most galleries don’t even need multiple languages, but there are some cases where you may want to present your portfolio for example in English, and then also in your native language ›

1. Links

The easiest way to provide your audience with a specific language, is simply by appending the ?language parameter in the URL of your gallery. For example if you want to provide a link to your Spanish version, the link would be:

{your-gallery-link}/?language=spanish

In our demo gallery:
/demo/x2/?language=spanish

* Keep in mind, you do not need to set the ?language parameter for your default language

2. Startpage Links

A simply way to provide a language option for your visitors, is to set up links on your start-page. In your start-page, simply add links in your title or description which link to your required languages. For example:

<a href="?language=english">English</a> | <a href="?language=spanish">Español</a>

3. Menu Links

Perhaps the best option for your visitors to switch between languages, is to provide language links in your Imagevue main menu. You can for example create a menu item that displays a link to the Spanish version from the English version, and a link to the English version from the Spanish version.

1. Go to your Imagevue Admin › Manage, and click [+ New] on the top to create a new folder item

2. Set the new folder to Use as:[Link] in the dropdown selector.

3. In the title field, add your titles in the languages you require. For example

[english]Spanish version[/english][spanish]English version[/spanish]

4. The Description field is optional, but in the Link field, add your links for the languages:

[english]?language=spanish[/english][spanish]?language=english[/spanish]

Now you have a gallery that displays a link to the “other” language than the one that is currently being viewed! Keep in mind, if you require additional languages, you may need to create separate menu links. Additionally, you may want to add country flag menu-icons for this link in your menu. You can download country flags png icons here or here.

4. Splash Page

If it is very important for your visitors to be able to select their language before the gallery loads, then you can create a basic splash page. The splash page will appear before the gallery, and provide language selection options for your visitors.

View Example›Download Source›

To create your own splash page or edit the html example from above, you need to have some experience with Html (or someone must be able to help you).

Simply upload the file index.html into your gallery folder, and it will display before index.php which contains your actual gallery.

You can download additional Flag icon images here.

You will need to edit the file appropriately and include links to your languages as specified earlier. Feel free to edit the document as you like – You may like to add some text, logo, more languages and links.

5. Advanced Domain forwarding

If you have multiple domains or the same domain in two (or more) country codes, then you can use this to trigger different languages for each domain. For example, you may have a *.com domain for English and another *.[country] domain for your native language.

Simply open the file in your gallery root called htaccess.txt:

# RewriteEngine on

# RewriteCond %{SERVER_NAME} site\.de$ [NC]
# RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/$ [NC]
# RewriteRule .* ?language=german [QSA]

# RewriteCond %{SERVER_NAME} site\.com$ [NC]
# RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} ^/$ [NC]
# RewriteRule .* ?language=english [QSA]

In the example above, the gallery will set ?language=german if the domain ends with *.de (German), and ?language=english if the domain ends with *.com. After you have edited the file to suit your domains and language, rename it to “.htaccess” and upload it to the root of your gallery

Notes

If you require visual differences for each language, you can also use separate themes for each of your languages. In the examples below, we have set separate themes for each language through the URL:
{yourgallery}/?language=spanish&theme=spanish
{yourgallery}/?language=english&theme=english

Naturally, you will need to create themes for your languages first.

You could also use a more elaborate setup by creating separate language files spanish.html, english.html and so on for the languages you require. The benefit would be that the language parameter and theme parameter can be embedded directly into the code, so they don’t “pollute” your URL. This is generally done by duplicating the html for your gallery into multiple language files, and simply changing a few parameters in each document.

Important! Imagevue languages use browser cookies – This means that once your visitor clicks a specific language for viewing, their browser will stick to this language even when the ?language parameter is not set. The language will only reset- or change if they actually click a link where the ?language parameter is set.

Using graphic icons in the main menu

Blog

Documentation

Knowledgebase

documentation

knowledgebase

menu

x2

This document explains how to add graphic menu icons in your Imagevue main menu by using a shortcode in your folder title

Since Imagevue X2.7, we added the option of including graphic icons in your Imagevue main menu to emphasize certain features of a menu item. You may for example want to use a Facebook- icon when linking to your Facebook page, or maybe you wish to use a custom icon to emphasize a portfolio folder in your gallery? There are two methods of adding icons to your main menu by using a [shortcode] in the Title -

Social Media Icons from AddThis

The first option, is to select an icon from the wide variety of social media icons available from the AddThis sharing service.

1. Go to the AddThis Services List page, and locate the Code for the service from which you want to display the icon. Optionally, you can go here to view all the available icons – Simply hover mouse over any of the icons to find the Code.

2. Go to your Imagevue Admin and navigate to the folder where you want to add the icon

3. Edit your folder title to include the [Code] in brackets:

[servicecode]Title Here

For example:

[twitter]Follow on Twitter

Although the icons represent various social media services, you can utilize the icons for any type of folder as you like: gallery, textpage, filemod or link.

Custom Icons

You can also use your own custom icons loaded from the following Imagevue folder:

iv-includes/images/icons/

You can either use any of the existing icons in this folder, or you can upload your own icon(s) in gif or png format. To display an icon from this folder in your main menu:

1. Basically, all user-changes from the admin are now stored in this folder, and it can easier by excluded when upgrading. There is a migration script included in X2.7 that will auto-migrate all files and delete the old folder, so the process should be entirely transparent. However if some issues arise, you can move your user-files manually from /iv-includes/config/ to /iv-config/ – Make sure you’ve renamed configUser.xml to config.xml

Imagevue X2.7 Updatelog

Flash Gallery

Added Shopping Cart & E-commerce integration with Fotomoto – Docs | Demo

Added support for multiple languages in file- and folder titles- and descriptions, text-pages and link (menu- and link function) – Docs | Demo
Example input:

[english]This is an English title[/english][french]Il s'agit d'un titre français[/french]

When accessing the gallery with ?language=english (or no parameter), it will show the English text, and when accessing the gallery with ?language=french, it will show the French text.

You can still use standard single-language input for those item where you don’t need/want multi-language support. In other words, this feature is optional per field.

In the example above, there is 2 languages, but you can add as many as you like.

If a language is used that a text is not made for, it will use the text from the first language item.

Added internal SWF folder caching to speed up the gallery. This feature comes into effect when loading a folder that has already been viewed once in the same session. Next time the same folder is viewed, it does not need to load the folder data.

Added support for frontend thumbnails creation from the Imagevue gallery. If you don’t create thumbnails for new images from the admin, they will be created on first visit of the gallery. However, we still recommend using the admin to create all thumbnails.

Added optional rounded corners for thumbnails. Sets a slightly rounded corner on the thumbnail frame. Looks best with frames that are wider than 1 px, or when using the box-setting

theme › thumbnails.thumbnails.frame.rounded

Added optional thumbnail background-box. Sets a symmetrical background-frame for all folders that contain different-size thumbnails (resize-to-box). Has no effect for folders where all thumbnails are the same size – Forum

theme › thumbnails.thumbnails.frame.box

Added support for hundreds of social icons in the main menu. As long as they are available in the AddThis services list, you can use them in the Imagevue menu. To add an icon to a menu item, simply navigate to the folder from your admin, and change the title to “[servicecode]Title Here”. Full overview of available icons can be viewed here. Also, larger icons are displayed in the menu folderdescription tooltip when using a social icon, unless you have defined another previewimage. – Documentation

Added support for custom icons in the menu. Simply copy any icons you want to use into your iv-includes/images/icons/ folder, and add them to any menu-item simply by referring to them through the title. For example:

[filename]Folder Title

We recommend using 16x16px icons, but you can also use larger icons up to 32px. We have already included a selection of icons in the iv-includes/images/icons/ folder that you can use in your menu as desired. – Documentation

Added new node-graphic for menu items that contain sub-folders. This graphic is effectively substituting the [+] and - characters that earlier have emphasized a sub-folder. Now, this item can not be toggled on/off with CSS any longer, but instead uses the setting:

settings › menu.mainmenu.items

The color is by default inherited from theme foreground_color, but can be changed manually:

theme › menu.mainmenu.menuitem.node_color

Added support for all sharing services that are available in the AddThis services list. Simply add the code of any service to the sharing services setting. – Forum | Docs.

settings › misc.sharing.services

Added email as an option in the share menu. The email button uses the Imagevue sendlink e-mailer, unlike the other sharing services which use the external AddThis API – Forum.

settings › misc.sharing.services

Added new option sharebutton_click under sharing settings, which sets the mouse-click event for the main share button. If set to ‘menu‘, mouse-click will toggle the native Imagevue sharing menu. If set to ‘extended‘, mouse-click will display the sharing popover html layer with extended sharing options, just like the ‘more‘ button. Also, if all services are disabled from the sharing settings, the sharebutton click will default to open the extended menu, since there are no items to display in the native menu.

settings › misc.sharing.sharebutton_click

Added support for Flash transparency. You can use this feature to display Html behind the Imagevue gallery, although we do not recommend this because of performance issues and obvious placement issues. To apply this feature, you need to add

wmode: 'transparent'

and flashvar:

transparent: true

into your document. Normally this is achieved by editing iv-includes/templates/index.gallery.phtml unless you have a custom html document. – Forum

Added auto sorting setting for the audio player. This way, audio tracks can now be sorted manually from the admin if required.

settings › audioplayer.sorting

Improved Form functionality
The following features are available to all pages/modules with input fields: contact form, send-link form and password form:

The gallery does not exit from full-screen any longer when input form pages appear. Instead, the gallery exits from full-screen only if visitor clicks an input field. On form submission, the gallery attempts to go full-screen again if it was in this state before the form was focused.

Fixed fullscreen_click bug scenario. Gallery goes full-screen on first click, only if visitors first click is NOT a form input field.

Text in input fields for contact form and send-link form are retained after submit. This way if there is an error, the visitor can go back without loosing any of the text they entered.

Contact window closes automatically after successful submission, just like the send-link window (does not work for contact form embedded in textpage)

Added basic error indicators (red) when fields are not filled by visitor. All required fields must be filled before the visitor can click “send”.

“Tab” through form items with “enter” key (except for multiline input fields)

“Enter” key submits forms if “send” button is in focus.

Add new theme CSS classes for the main menu. – CSS Docs

.mainmenu_password {}
.mainmenu_share {}
.mainmenu_level1 {}
.mainmenu_level2 {}
.mainmenu_level3 {}
.mainmenu_level4 {}
.mainmenu_level5 {}

Added Inverse Controls option to inverse the direction of all next/previous controls in the gallery. Useful in certain slideshows where you want the left/previous button to show the next image in order, photo-blog style.

settings › controls.inverse_controls

Added new setting scale_limit, which prevents the image from scaling larger than 100% of original size when the visitor uses the zoom buttons. – Forum

settings › image.image.scale_limit

Added the possibility to run Imagevue-native functions directly from the main menu – Forum.

Added “View in Html” feature, which allows the visitor to switch the gallery to the corresponding html page from the flash gallery. This feature is available under settings for image-click, thumbnails-click, main-controls, image-buttons and right-click – Forum.

Added new mainmenu items setting. Now you can choose what items to display in the main menu, instead of using CSS to hide them.

settings › menu.mainmenu.items

Added new video loop setting for the video player.

settings › misc.video.loop

Added more context buttons to videos. Available items are inherited from imagebuttons, excluding items that do not apply for video files.

Added new feature auto-open image if there is only 1 image in the folder. It will skip thumbnails mode and open image directly. – Forum

Added toggleplay option to imagebuttons, and fixed icon – Forum

settings › image.imagebuttons.buttons

Added new setting show_title to enable or disable titles for textpages without having to use CSS.

settings › textpage.show_title

Removed embedded social media icons in the Imagevue SWF, because now we load external icons for share and main menu. This shaves off 30kb.

Fixed occasional bug in menu, where the menu does not collapse properly after moving mouse cursor out of menu – Forum.

Fixed small bug in calculation of menu width, and changed default theme-config so that menu is more compact by changing the minimum_width value from 200 to 0:

theme › menu.mainmenu.menuitem.minimum_width

Fixed active state for current menu item when gallery is accessed through a # direct link – Forum.

Fixed so that Imagevue exits fullscreen when clicking a share button as to accommodate the sharing window for the specific service.

Fixed disable preview-image for folders with password-protection. Sign up and enable Fotomoto

First step is to sign up for a Fotomoto account and activate Fotomoto in Imagevue. Simply go to your Imagevue admin, and click the “Fotomoto” button in the main menu. Fill in your name + e-mail, and simply click “Create Fotomoto Account”. Your Fotomoto account will be created automatically, and you will also receive a confirmation e-mail from Fotomoto with your account details. Fotomoto will automatically be activated in your Imagevue gallery, and your Fotomoto Site Key will be stored in your settings.

You can now view your gallery and see that Fotomoto is activated, although you may also wish to go through the following steps:

2. Enable buy buttons

After activating Fotomoto in Imagevue, buy-buttons will automatically be added to your imagebuttons, maincontrols and to your right-click context-menu. If you are missing the buttons in any of these locations, or if you for some reason want them removed from any of these locations, you can go to Imagevue settings and add or remove them manually.

You can also add Fotomoto purchase options as text-links above the images:

settings › image.text.text3.enabled

You may of course also change any other settings for the text3 element through theme- or settings. You may wish to change the layout so they instead appear below the image, or maybe you want to change the font style in the theme CSS.

3. Visit your Fotomoto Dashboard

Login to your admin Fotomoto Dashboard here: http://my.fotomoto.com/

After images have been added to your Fotomoto Dashboard, you can set product- and pricing options, and create collections

If you are using the audioplayer in Imagevue, you may need to re-position the checkout cart into the bottom right corner of the screen. In your Fotomoto Dashboard, go to Settings › Store Appearance, and then under “Shopping Cart Appearance”, choose “Position: Bottom Right” and click “Save Appearance”.

You can change the captions/titles of the buttons from your Fotomoto Dashboard under Settings › Store Appearance – Hover mouse over any of the buttons in the preview and click “Change Label”.

FAQ

How do I disable Fotomoto for specific folders?
There are two ways to disable Fotomoto for specific folders in your Imagevue gallery:

1. From your Imagevue Admin, navigate to any of the folders where you want to disable Fotomoto, and add the following code to the folder-parameters:

fotomoto.enabled=false

This will prevent the images in this folder from being added to your Fotomoto Dashboard, and also disable Fotomoto buttons for this folder.

2. The second option, is to go to your Fotomoto Dashboard and set the “Not for sale” collection as default collection. All new photos will be added to this collection, and Imagevue will not display purchase buttons for any images that are not for sale. You can also “move” all your existing images from any other collection to the “not for sale collection”. Your only task would then be to actually manage what images to add/keep in your “For Sale” collection(s). More about Fotomoto Collections ›

Notes

All Fotomoto product-options displayed in your Imagevue gallery are loaded- and synchronized with the available products set for each image from your Dashboard

If a photo is set “not for sale” from your Fotomoto Dashboard, the fotomoto-related purchase buttons will be removed from the Imagevue interface. The same also happens if Fotomoto is disabled for a specific folder.

Fotomoto only works with Imagevue X2.7 or newer

Fotomoto also works with the Html-version of Imagevue – View Demo

You can change a few Fotomoto display settings in then Imagevue settings:

settings › fotomoto

Support

For more information about Fotomoto, visit the Fotomoto Support pages:
http://support.fotomoto.com/

You can ask questions, report problems or share ideas in the Fotomoto Forums:
http://getsatisfaction.com/fotomoto/

Fotomoto FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
How Fotomoto works on you website
How to set product- and pricing options for your images
Using “Collections” to price groups of images differently
Print product descriptions
Selling Downloads- and Licenses
How to use “Auto-Pickup” to automatically find your high-res files
How to use Fotomoto with watermarked images
How to get paid for the products sold using Fotomoto
How to prepare a print-ready high-res file after a customer makes an order
Using Fotomoto FAQ
Fotomoto Troubleshooting FAQ
Customer Service FAQ (for buyers)

Social Media Sharing in Imagevue

Blog

Documentation

Knowledgebase

documentation

knowledgebase

sharing

social media

How to use sharing and how to connect with Social Media like twitter and Facebook from Imagevue

Since Imagevue X2.6, we added new social media and sharing features to Imagevue. Social Media integration is a multi-layered subject, as discussed in this Imagevue forum topic. Basically, there is 1. The share button, 2. Connect to your own Social Media Channels and 3. The “Social Thing” widget.

The Share Button

In Imagevue, there is now a new share button available. When you mouse over the share button, a handful of social media services appear, ready to share the specific page you are visiting. When you click any of the specific services, you will be linked onwards to confirm the share.

In the screenshot above, we are about to share a gallery folder on Facebook. After sharing the link, visitors clicking the link in Facebook will be forwarded directly to the specific gallery page/image that was shared.

At the bottom of the share button options, there is a button “more”. Upon clicking the “more” button, an overlay-window opens with basically all sharing options known to mankind:

Share Button Options

You can disable, or choose which sharing services to display in the share-menu, by going to admin › settings › misc.sharing.services. Simply find the code for the service you wish to use from the AddThis Services List, and add the code to the array. For example:

email|E-mail,facebook,twitter,more

In the example above, the email setting triggers the native Imagevue e-mail module

You can set your own custom title by using the | character. In the example above, we are using the email code, but we wanted to set our own title , so we set: email|E-mail

Other sharing items are set from the AddThis Services List

By using the “more” code, you can are adding a button that opens an extended sharing menu with all services

The share button is by default available from folder page, text pages and of course from images. You also have the option to add the share button globally to the main controls.

Thumbnails/folder Pages – Admin › Settings › thumbnails.thumbnails.sharebutton

Text Pages – Admin › Settings › textpage.sharebutton

Image/File Pages – Admin › Settings › image.imagebuttons.buttons

Main Controls – Admin › Settings › controls.maincontrols.items

The share menu inherits the style of your theme. You can specifically edit the text formatting by editing your theme CSS stylesheet:

.sharemenu {}

Global Share Button in Main Menu

You can also add a global sharing button in your main menu for visitors to simply share your gallery home page!

To add a share button in your main menu, simply create a new folder item called “share”. This will automatically become a share button in your main menu. You can of course change the title of the menu item to anything you want.

Some Technical Aspects
# Imagevues uses Open Graph Protocol and meta redirection to achieve profiled sharing with deep-linking in the SWF gallery. Try this link to see a sharing redirection in effect.
# Imagevue uses Sharing Endpoints from AddThis to simplify sharing on multiple social media services. Imagevue also uses the AddThis sharing menu through javascript for the “more” button in the share menu.

Connect to your own Social Media Channels

Many of you have your own social media pages in Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Picasa, Myspace etc., and you may want to make these pages available to your visitors. You can of course add links to your accounts from text pages or in descriptions, but you can also use a special feature for the Imagevue main menu:

To add links with icons for social media pages in your main menu, simply create a new folder in your gallery and set it to use as [link]. In the title for your folder, add the service name in brackets followed by your own title. For example:

[flickr]My Flickr

You can read more about about this here:
Using Menu Icons›

Adding the “Social Thing” sharing widget

Many of you want to add the additional social widgets like we have done in our demo gallery (or see the standalone example widget here)

Unfortunately, this is not as easy as it may seem, and we do not support this directly from Imagevue settings. Why? Because these widgets are in fact iframe features that display interactive web content directly from facebook, twitter and Google. We can not load this into the Imagevue SWF gallery, and neither can we control the visual style of the item. Instead, these widgets need to be embedded manually into your html template in a floating layer above the SWF. Please follow these steps:

1. Go to your admin -> settings -> Custom CSS -> Flash Gallery CSS. Paste the CSS:

/* CSS Social Thing */
#social-thing {position: absolute; right: 120px; top: 10px; display: none;}
.rounded {-webkit-border-radius: 3px;-moz-border-radius: 3px;border-radius: 3px;}
.rounded-up {-webkit-border-top-left-radius: 3px;-moz-border-radius-topleft: 3px;border-top-left-radius: 3px;-webkit-border-top-right-radius: 3px;-moz-border-radius-topright: 3px;border-top-right-radius: 3px;}

.item img.smallicon {margin:5px; vertical-align:bottom;}
.item img.largeicon {position: absolute; left: 15px; top:15px;}
.item .service {position: absolute; right: -105px; top: 26px; height: 62px; display: none;}

#facebook-layer .service .container {margin: 19px 0 0 62px; }

#google-layer .service .container {margin: 20px 0 0 20px; width: 200px;}
#imagevue-layer .service .container {margin: 21px 25px 0 62px;}
#imagevue-layer .service .container a {color: #FFFFFF; text-decoration: none; font:15px Optima,Candara,arial,sans-serif;}

Click save

2. Then go to admin -> settings -> seo.counters. Paste the code:

<div id="social-thing" class="rounded background">

Download the semi-transparent black background here: halfblack.png, and upload it in your folder /iv-config/css/halfblack.png

Important! The code above is for Imagevue Twitter and Facebook, so you will need to edit the code appropriately to connect to your own services. There are 4 items in total in the example widget: Facebook, Twitter, Google+1 and Imagevue – You can remove any of the items to your liking by amending the code. You can get some hints here for the code for each specific widget: Google +1 button, Facebook like button, Twitter Tweet button, Twitter Follow button.

Adjustments
Since the “social-thing” widget is in its own html layer, we do not have any possibility to control it from the Imagevue SWF Gallery. Therefore, you may need to adjust the element’s position based on your own theme, layout and preferences. In the CSS code above, find the following line:

#social-thing {position: absolute; right: 120px; top: 10px; display: none;}

Basically, you can change the numbers above to offset the position of your element from the top right corner of the screen. Additionally, if you want to change the position/alignment altogether, you could use left and bottom instead of richt/top. For example:

left: 100px; bottom: 100px;

Important!
# Some browsers may not be able to display this floating layer 100% correctly.
# We do not officially support this feature because of the technical nature of the integration

Imagevue X2.6

Blog

Updatelog

release

updatelog

x2

Imagevue X2.6 includes a few new major features, as well as a few minor fixes. The new website is built in WordPress, and is more scalable in terms of content.

Since you are already here, you may have noticed that we launched a new website here at Imagevuex.com. Why not just have a click around?
http://imagevuex.com›

What’s New?

Basically our old website was simply outdated in terms of content and design, and not oriented towards new releases. With the new Imagevuex.com, we have cleaned up many sections, and will be focusing more on frequently updated content and user interaction. The new website is built in WordPress, and is more scalable to extensive amounts of content. There are still a few “loose ends”, but we are working to fill in the gaps!

Improved Imagevue Overview
We have cleaned up the Imagevue Overview page to be more concentric towards Imagevue X2, and it acts as a good introduction to Imagevue in general!
Imagevue Overview›

Improved Documentation
We have added and structured the documentation pages for a better insight into Imagevue. The new platform also allows us to create improved documentation structure with tags, categories and preferably video-tutorials in the future.
Imagevue Documentation›

New Users Premium Features
New Imagevue users now get exclusive access to support, Forums and posting comments in Blog/documentation through their login. Since we are excluding anonymous users from this, we have more time to support- and interact with actual Imagevue users.

New Forums
With the release of the new website, we also updated forum to PHPBB3 and customized the design of our forum to match the website. It is still a bit rough, but I think we have a good fundament for the growing Imagevue community. Also new is the fact that only licensed Imagevue users will be able to login to the forums. This is a premium advantage for customers, and saves our time from supporting non-authorized users. All existing forum users still keep to get their login though. We may allow registering in the forums with limitations for any user, but we haven’t decided on this yet.
Imagevue Forums›

New Blog
With our new Blog, we hope to provide frequent updates to the world of Imagevue, as well as tutorials and other interesting articles. We also invite interaction by using the comments field below – You can login with your Imagevue user account details. Stay Tuned!
Imagevue Blog›

Twitter and Facebook
From now on, we will be focusing on delivering more frequent updates and improved interaction with users through Twitter and Facebook.
Imagevue Twitter›
Imagevue Facebook›

User Galleries
We have a new elegant section for featured Imagevue User-Galleries. You can browse through all the featured galleries, which are also randomly featured in the website Footer and on the front-page. Please feel free to add your own gallery here! The user-galleries are managed in unison with our sibling project, photogallerylinks.com
User Galleries›
User Galleries Full List›
Add Your Gallery›

User Testimonials
We have received much praise from many Imagevue users since we started up, so we decided it would be fun to set up a Testimonials section on our website – See what others are saying about Imagevue and view their websites. You can also add your own testimonial, and include a link to your website for more exposure!
Imagevue User Testimonials›
Add Testimonial›

Logo and Design Profile

As you can see, we have a whole new design profile for the website and a brand new Logo. The boxed “x” represents the x in ImagevueX, and this icon will represent Imagevue from now on =)

What’s Next for Imagevue?

Many of you have been waiting patiently for a proposed massive update to Imagevue X2, and we simply have to apologize for the long wait. We had to nail this new website first to support our plans of future development – and we have many! Having said that, we are already well underway with the new Imagevue X2.5, and progress here is first priority from now on!

The Internet is constantly evolving with new technologies, trends and standards. In the near future, we would like to deliver other front-end modules for Imagevue in addition to the X2 Flash Gallery. We also want to document the Imagevue API, so that 3rd-party developers can create unique gallery- and slideshow frontends utilizing the Imagevue core and Control-Panel for management. For now, let me just mention a few keywords:

jQueryWordPresshtmlCSSFlashmobile

Please feel free to add comments below!
